Overview

The Kashi Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva (Vishwanath—Lord of the Universe), is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas and the spiritual heart of Varanasi. It is believed that a darshan here grants moksha (liberation). Steeped in centuries of devotion, destruction, and revival, the temple today stands renewed within the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, seamlessly connecting faith, history, and the Ganga.
